David has a background in Computer Vision and Medical AI. He also enjoys dabbling with Large Language Models. He likes to find effective solutions for real life problems, mostly using a computer. David's weapon of choice is Python, but if required will bring out some old school C++ optimisations and/or fight with a GPU.

David also likes to build nice looking frontends to show off technology and believes simple is usually the optimal solution to a problem.

When not sat in front of his computer David likes to chase a ball around a squash court or build things out of wood. He has also been known to push wood around a chess board.
